State-of-the-art review on vertical mixing in the Baltic Sea, consequences for eutrophication

We cannot understand eutrophication fully if we do not know how nutrients are transported between the sea bottom and the surface layer of the sea. In the project “State-of-the-art review on vertical mixing in the Baltic Sea and consequences for eutrophication”, the complex mechanisms affecting the flows of nutrients were investigated.
