A cooperation between John Nurminen Foundation and Baltic Sea 2020. The project is still running but without support frpm Baltic Sea 2020.
Eutrophication is the most severe environmental problem in the Baltic Sea today, caused by an excess input of nutrients to the sea. In order to combat the eutrophication the Baltic Sea 2020 Foundation and the John Nurminen Foundation worked together on a project titled Clean Baltic Sea – Poland, phase 1 (Warsaw) to reduce phosphorus emissions by improving waste water treatment in Poland.
