The breakfast seminar is about the accumulation of phosphorus, so-called legacy phosphorus. This legacy originated from sewage and agriculture sectors, mainly during the 1960s to 1990s. The sources of legacy phosphorus include fertilizer, manure, and human sewage. During the seminar, the topic of how phosphorus accumulations on land affect eutrophication will be discussed as well as possible measures.
Participation at Baltic Breakfast is free of charge, but registration is required, visit the Baltic Sea Center’s website for more information and registration.
The seminar will be held in English.
